Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Bisso.ai platform and services provided by Bisso AI ApS ("Bisso", "we", "us", or "our"), a company registered in Denmark. By installing, accessing, or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Service description
Bisso.ai is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that provides AI-powered customer support automation for Shopify merchants. Our service includes:
- An AI customer support agent capable of handling inquiries via chat and email
- Automated actions including order tracking, refund processing, order cancellation, and inventory lookups through the Shopify API
- A dashboard for managing tickets, configuring AI behavior, and monitoring performance
- An embeddable chat widget for your Shopify storefront
- Knowledge base management for custom FAQs and store-specific information
2. User responsibilities
As a user of Bisso.ai, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration and setup
- Maintain the security of your Shopify store and Bisso account credentials
- Use the service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable regulations
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise access the source code of our platform
- Not use the service to process, store, or transmit any content that violates applicable laws or third-party rights
- Monitor AI-generated responses and actions, especially when operating in autopilot mode, and take responsibility for the outcomes
- Comply with Shopify's terms of service and acceptable use policies
3. Billing and payments
All billing is processed exclusively through the Shopify Billing API:
- Subscription plans: Bisso offers multiple subscription tiers (Free, Pro, Growth) with different ticket limits and feature sets. Pricing is displayed on our website and in the Shopify App Store listing.
- Billing cycle: Subscriptions are billed monthly through your Shopify account. Charges appear on your regular Shopify invoice.
- Free trial: New users receive a free tier with limited tickets. Upgrading to a paid plan may include a trial period as specified during checkout.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time by uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin. You will retain access until the end of your current billing period.
- Refunds: Refund requests are handled in accordance with Shopify's billing policies. Please contact us at help@bisso.ai for billing disputes.
4. Service limitations
While we strive to provide reliable and accurate service, you acknowledge that:
- AI-generated responses may occasionally be inaccurate or inappropriate. You are responsible for reviewing responses, particularly in draft mode.
- The service depends on third-party APIs (Shopify, Anthropic) and may be affected by their availability and performance.
- Ticket limits apply per your subscription plan. Exceeding your limit may result in reduced service or the need to upgrade.
- We do not guarantee any specific resolution rate, response time, or business outcome from using our service.
- We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- Bisso.ai is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.
- We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
- Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
- We are not liable for any actions taken by the AI agent on your behalf, including but not limited to refunds processed, orders cancelled, or discount codes created. You are responsible for configuring appropriate limits and monitoring the AI's actions.
6. Intellectual property
The Bisso.ai platform, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Bisso AI ApS. You retain ownership of your store data, knowledge base content, and any content you upload to the platform.
By using our service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the service. This license terminates when you stop using our service and your data is deleted.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement:
- By you: You may terminate at any time by uninstalling the Bisso app from your Shopify store. Your data will be retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted.
- By us: We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive or fraudulent activity, or fail to pay applicable fees. We will provide reasonable notice where possible.
- Effect of termination: Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Sections regarding liability, intellectual property, and governing law survive termination.
8. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Denmark, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Copenhagen, Denmark.
Before initiating formal legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes amicably through direct negotiation for a period of at least 30 days.
9. Changes to these Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or through a prominent notice in the Bisso dashboard at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
